# clsAppInfoCollection.Criteria

`clsAppInfoCollection.Criteria` defines the public filter and search members used to retrieve `App_Info` collection results.

## Purpose
- Capture filter values for `App_Info` searches.
- Select how full-text search targets `Message_Text` and `Data_Text`.
- Normalize free-text search input before SQL binding.

## Behavioral notes
- `SearchType` drives whether `BuildWhere()` emits `CONTAINS` against `Message_Text`, `Data_Text`, or both columns.
- `ExcludeEpayAndDD` defaults to `True` in source, which aligns with [BR-008](../../business-rules.md#br-008-audit-searches-exclude-epay-and-directdeposit).
- `GetSearchValue()` preserves the explicit operators `AND`, `OR`, `&`, `|`, and `&!`, which aligns with [BR-004](../../business-rules.md#br-004-search-text-is-normalized-for-full-text-queries).

## Constraints and usage notes
- The SQL-property members and the date-specific overload constructor are `Friend` in source and are not part of the public API surface.
