AdjustedRates

AdjustedRates is a small VB module that defines the single shared constant used across adjusted-rate factor calculations to represent "no adjustment." Implementations of iAdjustedRateFactor.Factor return this constant when a given factor does not apply to a particular iAdjustedRateProvider, so that the value can be included in a cumulative multiplication of factors without changing the result.

Purpose

  • Centralize the neutral (identity) multiplier value used by adjusted-rate-factor implementations so that non-applicable factors do not distort a cumulative rate adjustment.
  • Provide a single, named constant (NonApplicableAdjustedRateFactor) instead of scattering the literal value 1 across factor implementations.

Context

  • Namespace: SAIF.Business.Policy
  • Assembly/package: SAIF.Business.Policy
