# SAIF.Business.Provider overview

`SAIF.Business.Provider` is a .NET Framework BOF component library that owns provider-domain business objects, Oracle persistence rules, and a companion API integration layer for ContactManager and ClaimCenter.

## Purpose
- Model providers, provider locations, addresses, contacts, identifiers, tax IDs, services, relationships, MCO memberships, ineligibility periods, notes, and CBP service lookups.
- Execute provider-domain CRUD and lookup behavior through BOF data-portal criteria backed by Oracle SQL.
- Translate selected provider-domain changes into outbound ContactManager and ClaimCenter API requests.

## Responsibilities
- Maintain the authoritative provider-domain mapping to Oracle tables such as `PROVIDER`, `PROVIDER_LOCATION`, `PROVIDER_ADDRESS`, `PROVIDER_TAX_ID`, and `PROVIDER_RELATIONSHIP`.
- Apply provider-domain validation rules before persistence, including search, address, contact, relationship, and tax-ID validation.
- Normalize provider addresses through `CleanAddressHelper` before address and TIN persistence.
- Publish adapter classes and DTOs for ContactManager and ClaimCenter integration paths.

## Key components
- `clsProvider`: Root provider aggregate with lazy `Locations` and `TaxIds` collections.
- `clsProviderLocation`: Provider location aggregate with lazy address, contact, service, identifier, relationship, membership, note, and cost-charge child collections.
- `clsProviderSearch`: Multi-criteria provider search workflow capped at 300 results.
- `clsProviderUtility`: Direct SQL lookup helper for provider, plan, specialty, and tax-ID resolution.
- `Api\*` classes: ContactManager and ClaimCenter API adapters and payload DTOs.
