# SAIF.Business.Tasks.Claim overview

SAIF.Business.Tasks.Claim specializes the shared SAIF task framework for claim workflows. It adds claim-specific task properties, validation, enrichment through `PK82284_CLAIM_TASK.SELECT_ADDITIONAL_FIELDS`, batch task generation, and legacy-code lookups on top of the core `clsTask` and `clsTaskCollection` infrastructure.

## Purpose
- Extend the shared BOF task model with claim- and Coverage B-specific task behavior.
- Generate multiple claim tasks through a dedicated orchestration object.
- Expose lookup access to the `LEGACY_TASK_CODE` table.

## Responsibilities
- Apply claim-specific validation and category defaults.
- Retrieve supplemental claim fields that the base task model does not populate.
- Provide collection views for claim tasks, coverage-B tasks, and the current user's tasks.
- Manage legacy task-code lookup data.

## Key components
- `clsClaimTask`: adds claim-specific properties and rules to the base task entity.
- `clsCoverageBTask`: specializes task behavior for Coverage B workflows.
- `clsClaimTaskCollection`, `clsCoverageBTaskCollection`, `clsMyTaskCollection`: provide claim-specific collection scopes.
- `clsClaimTaskGenerator`: creates batches of claim tasks with shared defaults.
- `clsLegacyTaskCode` / collection: surface lookup rows from `LEGACY_TASK_CODE`.
