clsClaimAddress

clsClaimAddress is a public class in SAIF.Business that inherits clsAddress and adds claim-specific contact, account, and update-tracking fields to a base address record.

Purpose

  • Stores claim-address metadata such as address code, addressee, additional address text, and address-validity state.
  • Captures contact and account-adjacent values including home phone, mobile phone, and bank account ID.

Behavioral notes

  • AdditionalAddressLine, BankAcctId, Addressee, UpdaterMailId, and UpdateTS proxy their values through clsSmartString backing fields.
  • The constructor sets Me.ReadOnly = True and Me.ActiveFormating = True before the object is used.
  • The class adds only claim-specific fields; base address fields remain inherited from clsAddress.

Constraints and usage notes

  • This class does not define validation rules or persistence methods in the source file.
  • UpdateTS is exposed as String, so callers receive and assign the raw stored timestamp text.
  • Mutability or formatting behavior inherited from clsAddress still applies to base-address members.
