# SAIF.Services.Imaging.Import overview

SAIF.Services.Imaging.Import is a .NET Framework library that exposes a single serializable DTO, `clsImageImport`. The library packages the fields used to describe an imaging import record and provides a deterministic `ToString()` projection that downstream components can embed in print and distribution requests.

## Purpose
- Provide a reusable contract for claim, policy, legal, task, and document metadata associated with an imaging import record.
- Convert the populated DTO into the newline-delimited `KEY=VALUE` format expected by downstream consumers.

## Responsibilities
- Expose the constants and properties used to populate an imaging import payload.
- Preserve default values for common import fields such as `ImageIndexFlag`, `ImageFileCode`, `TaskPriority`, `SystemGeneratedFlag`, and `PolicySecuredFlag`.
- Serialize the DTO into a stable line-oriented string through `clsImageImport.ToString()`.
