# SAIF.Services.Web overview

SAIF.Services.Web is a minimal utility class library providing a single reusable class, `RemotePost`, that enables server-side HTTP POST redirection from ASP.NET web applications. It is distributed as the `SAIF.BOF.Services.Web` NuGet package and is consumed by web applications that need to forward a user — along with POST-body parameters — to an external URL such as a payment gateway or another SAIF application.

## Purpose
- Provides a browser-redirect-via-auto-submitting-form bridge that forwards a user with POST-body parameters to a target URL, enabling form-POST redirects where a plain HTTP redirect (GET-only) cannot carry the required data.
- Consumed within active ASP.NET web request contexts by caller code that supplies a target URL and a set of name/value pairs to be encoded as hidden form fields.

## Responsibilities
- Accept and accumulate name/value input pairs (`AddInput`) to be rendered as hidden HTML form fields.
- Emit an auto-submitting HTML `<form>` (`Post`) targeting a configured URL, then terminate the current ASP.NET response.
- Allow the caller to configure the target URL (`URL` property) and the generated form name (`FormName` property).

## Key components
- `RemotePost`: sole substantive type; performs the full POST-redirect workflow using `HttpContext.Current`.
