ModalGridCustomizer.TargetControlIDData¶

ModalGridCustomizer.TargetControlIDData is the page-declarable, expandable property bag through which a hosting page identifies the target grid and its supporting controls for a ModalGridCustomizer instance.

Purpose¶

Holds the ID of the UltraWebGrid to customize (GridId), an optional linked control to refresh after applying changes (LinkedRefreshControlID), and the page's object-binder control ID used when BindingBehavior = ObjectBinder (ObjectBinderId).
Decorated with TypeConverter(GetType(ExpandableObjectConverter)) so the property appears as an expandable sub-property group in the Visual Studio WebForms designer's Properties grid.

Behavioral notes¶

ModalGridCustomizer.TargetGrid/ObjectBinder property getters throw ApplicationException if GridId/ObjectBinderId cannot be resolved to an actual control via Page.FindControl.

Constraints and usage notes¶

GridId must reference an actual UltraWebGrid control on the same page for the customizer to function.
ObjectBinderId is only consulted when ModalGridCustomizer.BindingBehavior is set to ModalGridCustomizer.BindingBehaviors.ObjectBinder.
