## Internal component design notes

`GridCustomizationPanel` is declared `Friend Class GridCustomizationPanel` in source, so it is **not** part of this library's public API surface and is intentionally excluded from the [API reference](api/index.md). It is documented here only as an internal implementation detail of `ModalGridCustomizer`.

- Raises `OKButtonClicked`, `BindGrid`, and `OnSavePreferences` events that `ModalGridCustomizer` handles to apply and persist column-visibility/paging changes.
- Populates its checkbox list and page-size field from the owning `ModalGridCustomizer`'s current customizer state via `Initialize(inListItems, inPageSize)`.
- Not intended for direct use by consuming pages; always accessed through `ModalGridCustomizer`.
