# SAIF.Presentation.Web.Controls.Infragistics103 overview

SAIF.Presentation.Web.Controls.Infragistics103 is a presentation-tier ASP.NET WebForms control-extension library that wraps four Infragistics WebUI v10.3 controls to add SAIF-specific client-side behavior — async-refresh error handling and focus restoration, sentinel "null date" suppression, masked-value cleanup, and cascading-dropdown filtering inside an `UltraWebGrid` — without performing data access, business-object orchestration, or server-side navigation of its own. `SAIFWarp` does cause client-side browser navigation to the central error page (`/weberror/processError.aspx`) for qualifying async-refresh errors ([BR-4](business-rules.md#br-4-async-refresh-error-redirects-to-central-error-page)).

## Purpose
- Extend Infragistics v10.3 vendor controls (`WebAsyncRefreshPanel`, `WebDateTimeEdit`, `WebMaskEdit`) and the base ASP.NET `Control` class with SAIF-specific client-side script injection and value-cleanup behavior, so consuming WebForms pages get consistent async-error handling, date-field, mask-field, and cascading-dropdown behavior without re-implementing it per page.
- Consumed declaratively by ASP.NET WebForms pages via `ToolboxData` markup (e.g., `<{0}:SAIFWARP runat=server>`); no dependency-injection, factory, or service-locator usage is involved.

## Responsibilities
- Centralize async-refresh error redirection and post-refresh focus restoration for panels wrapping `WebAsyncRefreshPanel` (`SAIFWarp`).
- Suppress Infragistics' sentinel "null date" values (`01/01/1901`, `12/31/9999`) from being displayed to users in date fields (`SAIFWebDateTimeEdit`).
- Provide cleaned `PhoneValue`/`TaxIdValue` accessors that strip mask placeholders and dangling extension markers (`SAIFWebMaskEdit`).
- Wire cascading/dependent dropdown value lists on `UltraGridColumn` instances of an `UltraWebGrid`, generating client-side JavaScript filters (`clsDropDownController`).

## Key components
