# AutoBindWebMaskEdit

`AutoBindWebMaskEdit` is the auto-binding wrapper around an Infragistics `WebMaskEdit`, used for masked-input fields (e.g. formatted numbers or codes) that need the same reflection-based bind/validate/style pipeline as the other auto-bind editors. It exposes the underlying `WebMaskEdit` and its `InputMask` directly, so callers can configure the mask in markup while the ancestor handles model binding.

## Purpose
- Wraps an Infragistics `WebMaskEdit` so masked-input values participate in the shared auto-binding, validation, and styling pipeline via [AutoBindControlAncestor](AutoBindControlAncestor.md).
- Exposes `InputMask` so the mask pattern can be configured per instance while binding behavior stays uniform across all auto-bind editors.
- Captures a user's edited masked value on the editor's change event and immediately writes it back to the bound model property. ([BR-AJAX-007](../../business-rules.md#br-ajax-007-a-user-edit-is-captured-and-pushed-to-the-model-immediately))

## Behavioral notes
- All bind/validate behavior comes unchanged from `AutoBindControlAncestor`; this class only supplies the concrete Infragistics `WebMaskEdit` and its change-event wiring.

## Constraints and usage notes
- `Infragistics35.WebUI.WebDataInput.v11.1` (version 11.1.20111.2090) must be available in the hosting application for `WebMaskEdit` to render.
