SAIF.Presentation.Web.Controls.AJAX.Infragistics111 database tables¶
This page catalogs database tables accessed by this library.
Table catalog¶
| Table | Database | Schema/Link | CRUD | Purpose | Primary business object |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| APPLICATION_HELP_MASTER | Oracle | [unqualified]** |
R | Master row for one help entry: application code, reference key, and its description | clsHelpText, clsHelpTextCollection |
| APPLICATION_HELP_DETAIL | Oracle | [unqualified]** |
R | Detail row holding the free-text help body for a reference key | clsHelpText, clsHelpTextCollection |
APPLICATION_HELP_MASTER¶
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Database | Oracle |
| Schema/Link | [unqualified]** — no OWNER. prefix in SQL; no connection string exists in this library, so the owning schema cannot be determined from this repository and must be confirmed from the runtime connection configuration of the hosting application** |
| Purpose | Identifies a help entry by application code and reference key, and supplies its human-readable reference-key description* |
| Access pattern | Direct SQL (inline, via the BOF data portal) |
| CRUD operations | Read |
| Key columns used | APPLICATION_CODE, REFERENCE_KEY_DESCR, REFERENCE_KEY_VALUE |
| Sequence | N/A |
| Related tables | APPLICATION_HELP_DETAIL |
| Business objects | clsHelpText, clsHelpTextCollection |
Operations referencing this table¶
Business rules referencing this table¶
- BR-AJAX-017: Help text is identified by an application code and reference key with length ceilings
- BR-AJAX-018: Help content is assembled by joining master and detail on the reference key
- BR-AJAX-019: A help lookup that matches nothing yields empty text, not an error
SQL referencing this table¶
- SQL-001: Retrieve help text by application code and reference key
- SQL-002: Retrieve help text list by application code
APPLICATION_HELP_DETAIL¶
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Database | Oracle |
| Schema/Link | [unqualified]** — no OWNER. prefix in SQL; no connection string exists in this library, so the owning schema cannot be determined from this repository and must be confirmed from the runtime connection configuration of the hosting application** |
| Purpose | Holds the free-text help body for a reference key, joined to its master row* |
| Access pattern | Direct SQL (inline, via the BOF data portal) |
| CRUD operations | Read |
| Key columns used | HELP_TEXT, REFERENCE_KEY_VALUE |
| Sequence | N/A |
| Related tables | APPLICATION_HELP_MASTER |

Table relationship diagram¶
The following diagram shows the master-detail relationship between the two tables used by this library.
erDiagram
APPLICATION_HELP_MASTER ||--o{ APPLICATION_HELP_DETAIL : "REFERENCE_KEY_VALUE"
APPLICATION_HELP_MASTER {
VARCHAR2 APPLICATION_CODE
VARCHAR2 REFERENCE_KEY_VALUE
VARCHAR2 REFERENCE_KEY_DESCR
}
APPLICATION_HELP_DETAIL {
VARCHAR2 REFERENCE_KEY_VALUE
VARCHAR2 HELP_TEXT
}
The join is expressed as an Oracle comma-join with the predicate in the WHERE clause rather than an ANSI JOIN clause, but is an explicit equi-join on REFERENCE_KEY_VALUE. Direction (master → detail) and 1:N cardinality are inferred from table naming and column distribution; clsHelpText reads only the first row, so a master row with multiple detail rows would silently yield only one help text.*
