# SAIF.Presentation.Web.Controls.Infragistics111 overview

`SAIF.Presentation.Web.Controls.Infragistics111` is a small ASP.NET WebForms server-control library that extends three Infragistics 11.1 web controls (`WebAsyncRefreshPanel`, `WebDateTimeEdit`, `WebMaskEdit`) with SAIF-specific behavior, and adds one non-visual `Control` subclass that generates client-side JavaScript to cascade two `UltraWebGrid` drop-down value lists. It contains no business logic, no data access, and no configuration or security code.

## Purpose
- Adapt Infragistics 11.1 web controls to SAIF presentation conventions: sentinel-date suppression on focus, mask-literal suppression, and phone/tax-ID value normalization for consuming code-behind.
- Restore client-side input focus and surface a generic error redirect after an asynchronous panel refresh.
- Generate client-side JavaScript that filters a child `UltraWebGrid` column's value list based on the selected value of a parent column, so grid consumers get cascading drop-downs without writing their own script.
- Consumed by ASP.NET WebForms pages that declare these controls directly in markup; there is no factory, manager, or dependency-injection indirection in this library.*

## Responsibilities
- Own the four presentation-layer control types and their client-script generation: `SAIFWarp`, `SAIFWebDateTimeEdit`, `SAIFWebMaskEdit`, `clsDropDownController`.
- Deliver all behavior through the standard ASP.NET WebForms control lifecycle (`Init`, `PreRender`, `CreateChildControls`, `RenderContents`, `DataBind`) and `Page.ClientScript` registration.

## Key components
- `SAIFWarp`: `WebAsyncRefreshPanel` wrapper that restores focus and surfaces errors after an asynchronous refresh.
- `SAIFWebDateTimeEdit`: `WebDateTimeEdit` wrapper that clears sentinel dates (`01/01/1901`, `12/31/9999`) on focus.
- `SAIFWebMaskEdit`: `WebMaskEdit` wrapper exposing normalized `PhoneValue` and `TaxIdValue` properties.
- `clsDropDownController`: non-rendering `Control` subclass that cascades two `UltraWebGrid` column value lists via generated client script.
