# Error

View used by the policy header component and the layouts to show a failure message in a banner instead of the normal content.

## Purpose
- Display the error text for a null menu or a policy error ([BR-BOLMIDDLEWARE-016](../../business-rules.md#br-bolmiddleware-016-null-menu-error-view), [BR-BOLMIDDLEWARE-017](../../business-rules.md#br-bolmiddleware-017-error-message-error-view)).
