# Instructions for publishing/consuming SAIF.SAIFCode.Core nuget package
You may also need to install the following modules:
```from powershell
see https://tfs.saif.com/SAIFCodeCollection/SAIF/_git/IT.DevOps.Scripts?path=%2FSAIF-PSModules%2Finstall-SAIFModules.ps1&_a=contents&version=GBmaster
```

## 1) Nuget Project: publish nuget package to SAIFLocal feed
- Open Developer Powershell 7 prompt
- Navigate to C:\tfsgit\claims\SAIF.Core
- Run the following command 
```powershell
publish-localnuget -packageName "SAIF.SAIFCode.Core" -prerelease -pathToProject .\core\saif.core
```

## 2) Consuming Project: update nuget ref from SAIFLocal feed
- copy the update-package command from #1 and run it in Package Manager Console in the consuming project

## 3) Nuget Project: commit/push changes to git repo

## 4) Nuget Project: build/publish nuget to SAIFNuget feed
- Open Developer Powershell 7 prompt
- Run the following command
```powershell
$buildAndReleaseResult = run-pipeline -pipelineName "SAIF.SAIFCode.Core.Nuget.Build.Release" -branch (git rev-parse --abbrev-ref head) -stagesToRun build,prerelease,release -waitForCompletion -nugetPreReleaseSuffix alpha -nuget -nugetPackageName "SAIF.SAIFCode.Core" -approvalMessage "Please approve the included stage(s) ASAP"
```

## 5) Consuming Project: Update nuget ref from SAIFNuget feed
- copy the update-package command from #3 and run it in Package Manager Console in the consuming project
