FindClaimsSearchCriteria

Request payload passed to WorkerDataApiClient.FindClaims, describing the fields a caller can populate to search for claims by worker identity, address, policy/account, and claim/check numbers.

Purpose

  • Carries the full set of optional search fields (worker name/DOB/tax ID, address, policy/account numbers, claim/check numbers, RTW user id) accepted by the Guidewire ClaimCenter claim/search endpoint.
  • Controls result shaping via ContainsOnly, MaxLimit, and FieldFilter.

Context

  • Namespace: SAIF.Data.Guidewire.Contracts
  • Assembly/package: SAIF.Data.Guidewire (packaged in SAIF.SAIFCode.Core)

Public members

Member Signature Purpose
ContainsOnly public bool ContainsOnly { get; set; } Requests contains-style (substring) matching rather than exact matching for the supplied search fields*
MaxLimit public int MaxLimit { get; set; } Caps the number of claim results returned by the search
FieldFilter public string FieldFilter { get; set; } Restricts which fields are returned on each matched claim summary*
AddressLine public string AddressLine { get; set; } Address line to match against; omitted from the serialized request body entirely when null ([JsonIgnore(Condition = JsonIgnoreCondition.WhenWritingNull)])
CheckNumber public string CheckNumber { get; set; } Check number to match against
ClaimNumber public string ClaimNumber { get; set; } Claim number to match against
ParentAccount public string ParentAccount { get; set; } Parent account identifier to match against
PolicyNumber public string PolicyNumber { get; set; } Policy number to match against
RateAccount public string RateAccount { get; set; } Rate account identifier to match against
RtwUserId public string RtwUserId { get; set; } Return-to-work user id to match against
WorkerDateofBirth public string WorkerDateofBirth { get; set; } Worker date of birth to match against
WorkerFirstName public string WorkerFirstName { get; set; } Worker first name to match against
WorkerLastName public string WorkerLastName { get; set; } Worker last name to match against
WorkerMiddleName public string WorkerMiddleName { get; set; } Worker middle name to match against
WorkerTaxID public string WorkerTaxID { get; set; } Worker tax ID to match against

Behavioral notes

  • This class has no behavior of its own; it is a plain data-transfer object serialized to JSON by WorkerDataApiClient.FindClaims before being POSTed to claim/search.
  • Only AddressLine carries a [JsonIgnore(Condition = JsonIgnoreCondition.WhenWritingNull)] attribute (using System.Text.Json); the other string properties have no such attribute, so a null value in those fields is serialized as JSON null rather than omitted, unlike AddressLine.
  • WorkerDateofBirth is typed as string, not DateTime, so callers are responsible for supplying it in whatever date format the Guidewire search endpoint expects*.

Constraints and usage notes

  • All properties are optional/mutable and default to their CLR defaults (false, 0, or null) when not explicitly set.
  • Note the [JsonIgnore] attribute here uses System.Text.Json.Serialization, whereas most serialization elsewhere in this library's clients uses Newtonsoft.Json; WorkerDataApiClient.FindClaims serializes this type with Newtonsoft.Json.JsonConvert.SerializeObject, which does not honor System.Text.Json's [JsonIgnore] attribute, so AddressLine is serialized as null (not omitted) in practice**.

Note: Statements marked with * were inferred from code structure, naming conventions, or contextual evidence where direct confirmation was not available in source artifacts. Statements marked with ** could not be confirmed; treat as unknown until verified.
