# ActivityPatternCode

ActivityPatternCode enumerates the Guidewire activity pattern codes that classify an [Activity](Activity.md)'s `activityPatternCode` property, and is serialized as its string name (not a numeric value) via `StringEnumConverter` when the activity is posted to Guidewire.

## Purpose
- Classifies the kind of event or workflow pattern that triggers a claim activity

## Behavioral notes
- Serialized as its string enum name via `[JsonConverter(typeof(StringEnumConverter))]` on the `Activity.activityPatternCode` property, not as a numeric value.
