# ActivityRole

ActivityRole enumerates the roles an [Activity](Activity.md)'s `activityRole` property can target, and is serialized as its string name (not a numeric value) via `StringEnumConverter` when the activity is posted to Guidewire.

## Purpose
- Classifies which role a claim activity is assigned or directed to

## Context
- Namespace: `SAIF.Data.Guidewire.Models.ActivityDataApi`
- Assembly/package: `SAIF.Data.Guidewire` (packaged in `SAIF.SAIFCode.Core`)

## Members
| Value | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| adjuster | Activity is directed to the claim adjuster* |
| supervisor | Activity is directed to a supervisor* |
| rtw_ext | Activity is directed to a return-to-work role* |

## Behavioral notes
- Serialized as its string enum name via `[JsonConverter(typeof(StringEnumConverter))]` on the `Activity.activityRole` property, not as a numeric value.
