AuditNoteArguments

AuditNoteArguments is the input parameter object AuditNote's create and modify operations take: it carries the note text, category/type codes, active flag, and the target claim or bill ID so AuditNote can resolve the note-type reference row and route the note by category (DOM-BR-150). Bill.ModifyStatus builds one of these to attach an audit note whenever a status change includes optional note text.

Purpose

  • Carries the data a caller needs to supply to create or modify an AuditNote, decoupling AuditNote's constructor and ModifyNote signatures from a long parameter list.
  • Supplies the category code ("C" claim / "B" bill) that AuditNote uses to decide where the note attaches (DOM-BR-150).

Context

  • Namespace: SAIF.Domain.Model.Claims.Bills.Notes
  • Assembly/package: SAIF.Domain (packaged in SAIF.SAIFCode.Core)

Public members

Member Signature Purpose
BillId public long BillId { get; set; } The bill this note attaches to when CategoryCode is "B".
ClaimId public long ClaimId { get; set; } The claim this note attaches to when CategoryCode is "C".
NoteText public string NoteText { get; set; } The free-text content of the note.
CategoryCode public string CategoryCode { get; set; } The note's category code, driving whether AuditNote routes it to the claim or the bill (DOM-BR-150).
TypeCode public string TypeCode { get; set; } The note's type code (e.g. "BE", "AU"), used together with CategoryCode to resolve the CbpNoteTypeCode reference row.
IsActive public bool IsActive { get; set; } Whether the note is active; copied onto the CbpNote entity on create or modify.
UpdateNumber public int UpdateNumber { get; set; } An update-sequence value carried on the arguments object*; not read by AuditNote's create or modify logic.
CurrentUser public string CurrentUser { get; set; } The acting user ID recorded as the note's create/update user.

Behavioral notes

  • UpdateNumber is defined on this type but is never referenced by AuditNote's constructor or ModifyNote method, so setting it currently has no observable effect**.

Constraints and usage notes

  • Callers must set CategoryCode to exactly "C" or "B" for AuditNote to attach the note anywhere; any other value (or a null/empty value) results in an unattached note.

Note: Statements marked with * were inferred from code structure, naming conventions, or contextual evidence where direct confirmation was not available in source artifacts. Statements marked with ** could not be confirmed; treat as unknown until verified.
