TaskExtensions

TaskExtensions is a static extension-method class that centralizes the task priority and source code sets so every task list screen maps the same codes to the same display values.

Field Value
Operation ID OP-CORE-05
Trigger Task list mapping/display
Inputs Task priority code, task source code
Outputs Display value for the code
Primary components TaskExtensions
Entry point Core/SAIF.Core/Contracts/Tasks/Extensions/TaskExtensions.cs

Steps

  1. An extension method maps a task priority code — URG, INFO, MED, LOW, or HIGH — to its display value (CORE-BR-040).
  2. A second extension method maps a task source code — CLAIM, COLL, COVB, IMAGE, WCIS, or RTW — to its display value (CORE-BR-040).
  3. The mapped display value is returned to the caller for rendering in a task list.

Process flow

The following diagram visualizes this operation's control flow.

Failure and edge-case behavior

  • An unrecognized code's mapping behavior is not verified in this contract*.

Note: Statements marked with * were inferred from code structure, naming conventions, or contextual evidence where direct confirmation was not available in source artifacts.
