# FileDelimiters

`FileDelimiters` centralizes the two well-known delimiter literals used by the `Csv` and `TabDelimited` format attributes so that format attributes and the reader/writer parsing logic share a single source of truth for these characters rather than repeating literal strings.

## Purpose
- Supplies the comma delimiter used by [`FileFormats.Csv`](../saif.common.files/FileFormats.md) configurations.
- Supplies the tab delimiter used by [`FileFormats.TabDelimited`](../saif.common.files/FileFormats.md) configurations and by [`TabDelimitedRecord`](../saif.common.files.core/TabDelimitedRecord.md)'s hard-coded splitting behavior ([BR-013](../../business-rules.md#br-013-tabdelimitedrecord-always-splits-on-tab)).
