ClientInfo

ClientInfo is the caller-identity data carrier passed into JsonHttpClient's constructor. Its three properties are copied verbatim onto the Client-Name, Application-ID, and Client-User headers of every outbound request (BR-01), giving the receiving SAIF Web API an unauthenticated but consistent identification of the calling machine, application, and user.

Purpose

  • Carry the calling machine name, application identifier, and user identifier that JsonHttpClient emits as identity headers on every request.

Context

  • Namespace: SAIF.Web.API.Clients
  • Assembly/package: SAIF.Web.API.Clients (net35 build variant; not shipped by the current package definition — see Overview)

Public members

Member Signature Purpose
MachineName public string MachineName { get; set; } Value emitted as the Client-Name request header, identifying the calling machine.
ApplicationId public string ApplicationId { get; set; } Value emitted as the Application-ID request header, identifying the calling application.
UserId public string UserId { get; set; } Value emitted as the Client-User request header, identifying the calling user.

Behavioral notes

  • These values are unauthenticated, caller-supplied identification, not proof of identity; the receiving API cannot rely on them for authorization decisions.*

Constraints and usage notes

  • Populate all three properties before constructing JsonHttpClient, since GetJsonResponse reads them unconditionally when building identity headers.

Note: Statements marked with * were inferred from code structure, naming conventions, or contextual evidence where direct confirmation was not available in source artifacts.
