# SAIF.Web.API.Clients.35 dependencies

`SAIF.Web.API.Clients.35` has one in-repository project reference (`SAIF.Web.API.Core`, for the shared response envelope and exception taxonomy) and three externally pinned packages (`Newtonsoft.Json`, `RestSharp`, `SAIF.Framework.Common`), all resolved via `packages.config` at net35-compatible versions. The library is a retired/dormant legacy variant: it is absent from `src/SAIF.Web.API.Clients.sln`, so none of these dependencies are exercised by the current CI build, and the project's output is not referenced by any live (uncommented) entry in the shipped nuspec.

## API dependencies

This library issues outbound requests to a caller-supplied `serviceBaseUri` with no endpoint literals of its own; it defines a generic HTTP client rather than calling specific, fixed endpoints, so no fixed API dependency table applies.

## Dependency risks and notes
- **Dormant/retired legacy variant.** `SAIF.Web.API.Clients.35` has no source files of its own (links compile from the sibling `SAIF.Web.API.Clients` project), is absent from `src/SAIF.Web.API.Clients.sln`, and is excluded from the shipped NuGet package definition — treat every dependency below as build-time evidence from a legacy variant, not an actively exercised runtime dependency set.
- **Project excluded from the solution and build.** `SAIF.Web.API.Clients.35` is not a member of `src/SAIF.Web.API.Clients.sln`, so the CI pipelines described in `pipelines/build-webapiclients.yml` never compile it.
- **Not shipped by the current package definition.** The project's `bin\35\…` output is referenced only by commented-out `<file>` entries in `nuspec/SAIF.Web.API.Clients/SAIF.Web.API.Clients.nuspec`; per the commented-out-code exclusion rule, those entries are not live, so the net35 assembly is not packaged into the shipped NuGet package.
- **Framework-mismatched project reference.** The internal `SAIF.Web.API.Core` reference targets `v4.6.2` while this project targets `v3.5`; a net4.6.2 assembly cannot be referenced from a net3.5 assembly, calling the compiled viability of this project into question.
- **RestSharp namespace drift.** The linked source imports `RestSharp.Serialization.Json`, a namespace introduced in the RestSharp 106.x line, but this project pins RestSharp 105.2.3 — the namespace is not expected to exist in the pinned assembly.
- **Package version divergence from the actively-built sibling.** Compared to the net4.6.2 `SAIF.Web.API.Clients` project, this project pins older versions of `RestSharp` (105.2.3 vs. 106.12.0) and `SAIF.Framework.Common` (1.0.17234.2 vs. 2.0.22074.3 — a major-version gap).
- **Missing `System.Web` reference with a `System.Web`-dependent code path.** `JsonHttpClient.cs` declares `using System.Web;` and calls `HttpContext.Current`, but `System.Web` is not referenced by this project and the supporting `Extensions/HttpContextExtensions.cs` source file is excluded from compilation — the on-behalf-of impersonation path (`SetOnBehalfOfUserHeaders`) has no compilable implementation here.
- **Overall assessment.** Taken together, the missing solution membership, the commented-out nuspec entries, the cross-framework project reference, and the excluded extension-method source file indicate this project is a retired/dormant legacy variant retained in source but no longer built or packaged.
