# SAIF.Framework.Connection configuration settings

SAIF.Framework.Connection does not use `IEnvironmentService`, `ConfigurationManager.AppSettings`, `DbConnectionManager`, or `<connectionStrings>` entries. Its configuration surface consists of one typed `ApplicationSettingsBase` web-service endpoint setting (`SAIF_Framework_Connection_ConnectInfo_ConnectInfo`) plus Oracle provider registrations in `app.config`; Oracle and SQL Server connection strings themselves are resolved at runtime from the remote `ConnectInfo` SOAP service.

## Configuration retrieval methods
