Application dependencies

LegalMaintenance depends on a shared stack of internal SAIF libraries, a common BOF/legacy framework package set, several external service integrations (imaging, xPression/SSRS, Appworx, Exchange), and shares AD resources and manager code with the sibling LegalNet application.

Internal dependencies

Dependency Reference Type Consuming libraries Usage
SAIF.BOF.Framework NuGet Package SAIF.Application, SAIF.Application.Claim, SAIF.Application.Claim.Legal Core BOF manager/security/data-portal framework
SAIF.BOF.Business NuGet Package SAIF.Business.Claim, SAIF.Business.Claim.Legal, SAIF.Business.Policy, SAIF.Business.Tasks Base business-object types (Criteria pattern)
SAIF.Framework.Common NuGet Package Multiple libraries across all layers Shared framework utilities

External dependencies

Dependency Version Consuming libraries Usage
Oracle.ManagedDataAccess unknown** SAIF.Application, SAIF.Business.Claim.Legal, SAIF.Business.Claim Oracle database connectivity
Autofac unknown** Multiple libraries Dependency injection container
FluentValidation unknown** Multiple libraries Validation framework
AutoMapper unknown** Multiple libraries Object-to-object mapping
log4net unknown** Multiple libraries Logging
Newtonsoft.Json unknown** Multiple libraries JSON serialization
RestSharp unknown** SAIF.Application.Claim REST client library
iTextSharp unknown** SAIF.Services.Printing PDF generation
Infragistics 11.1 11.1 LegalMaintenance (UI layer) WebForms UI controls (grids, masked editors)
jQuery unknown** LegalMaintenance (UI layer) Client-side scripting

API dependencies

Endpoint Method Called from Direction Usage
Claim imaging/data API (ImagingAPI.Client, ClaimImageApiClient) REST SAIF.Application.Claim outbound Claim imaging data lookups
xPression SOAP endpoint SOAP SAIF.Services.Printing outbound Legal document rendering/distribution
SSRS web-service endpoint (clsRSPrint) SOAP/REST SAIF.Services.Printing outbound Report rendering
Appworx submit_appworx_job stored procedure DB stored procedure SAIF.Services.Appworx outbound Batch job submission — executed against an environment-selected Oracle instance (WCISDEV1 for dev, WCISPROD for prod, via clsMSOracleDataLayer("PRADT", "WCISDEV1"/"WCISPROD")); the external AppWorx batch scheduler polls this database for submitted jobs, it is not a web application
Exchange Web Services SOAP SAIF.Business.Claim.Legal outbound Attorney calendar synchronization

External web application navigations

None identified. The batch job submission integration (SAIF.Services.Appworx) is a database-level integration, not a web application redirect — see the note below.

Cross-application integrations

Integration Protocol Data exchanged Libraries involved Usage
LegelNet/LegalNet application Shared assembly / shared AD resources Legal case, schedule, and note data via shared SAIF.Application.Claim.Legal LegalNet managers (LNNoteView, LNUpdate, LNLCEUpdate, LNDueDateUpdate resources) SAIF.Application.Claim.Legal Shared case/schedule/note data access

Dependency risks and notes

  • Several external/framework packages (SAIF.BOF.Framework, SAIF.BOF.Business, SAIF.Framework.Common) have unresolved version numbers from repository-local analysis, so exact package-level configuration requirements are unknown without a Legends CLI docgen query.**
  • The checked-in ApplicationHost app setting (np17) in LegalMaintenance/Web.config is a non-production host identifier used for environment/logging context (unrelated to Appworx job submission, which selects its database target — WCISDEV1/WCISPROD — programmatically); production deployment depends on an out-of-repository config transform or release-time substitution, which is not present in this repository.*
  • The clsImageImport.ToString() wire-format contract is shared across print/imaging consumers with no schema versioning, so a change in one upstream library's fields can silently break document distribution for others.*
