SAIF.Business.Policy.Core overview

SAIF.Business.Policy.Core is the canonical policy aggregate library for the BOF policy stack. It models policy, policy-period, location, contact, status, and supporting code-table data while bridging to Oracle-backed premium, billing, governing-class, and logging behaviors.

Purpose

• Provide the shared policy-core business-object model used by higher-level policy applications.
• Unify WCIS and legacy policy-period behavior behind one retrieval surface.
• Support masking-aware retrieval, BOF persistence, and Oracle procedure calls for policy-centric workflows.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and persist policy-core entities through BOF criteria lifecycles.
• Merge modern and legacy policy periods into a single timeline.
• Apply masking to sensitive policy, location, and contact fields when requested.
• Call Oracle procedures for premium, governing-class, billing, and logging behaviors.
