SAIF.Business is a large BOF business library that combines Oracle-backed business objects, claim/security services, reusable contact abstractions, and cross-application helper services used by claims, policy, imaging, EFT, and reference-data workflows.

Purpose

  • Provide BOF business objects and helper services for employee, claim, policy, imaging, EFT, translation, and contact-management scenarios.
  • Centralize reusable contact/value-object behavior, shared result contracts, and code-map lookups consumed by higher-level SAIF applications.

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve employee, help-text, language-translation, and output-address BOF objects from Oracle-backed sources.
  • Enforce claim-scoped authorization, security-flag handling, and external-visibility checks.
  • Provide imaging, EFT, policy, unit-stat, globalization, MCO, and bank-validation helper workflows.
  • Publish reusable contact/value-object, enum, and mapping abstractions for downstream consumers.
